Adrian joined EEM from The Gold Standard Foundation, the leading certification body for climate and development finance, which he led for as CEO for five years. Under his leadership the Gold Standard developed internationally acclaimed certification schemes for energy, transport, forests, agriculture and water, driving tens of millions of Euros of funding and investment into more than 2000 environmental and sustainable development programmes in 50 countries.

Stephen has been Global Head of Energy & Carbon Efficiency at ING since 2006 when he was asked to establish a team to meet the growing demand from ING's clients for specialist carbon market finance resulting from the UNFCCC's Kyoto Protocol and the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
