Michael Cieslarczyk is a partner of DLA Piper UK LLP and heads the energy team in DLA Piper's Cologne office. He has long-standing experience in advising domestic and foreign market participants in relation to energy regulation, energy infrastructure projects andenergy contracts. He has specialized on energy and emissions trading activities, supervisory laws for banking and financial services institutions active in energy and emissions trading and on the implications of banking, capital markets and exchange laws on the energy sector.

As part of Orbeo’s Policy & Research team Cathrine Sachweh is in charge of regulatory affairs. She is responsible of following and reacting to developments in climate change policy at the EU, North American and international level, contributing to stakeholder consultations and interacting with policymakers. Cathrine is managing Orbeo’s representation in carbon market associations such as IETA and CMIA. Previously she has worked at OneCarbon on CDM and JI methane projects in Eastern Europe. As CDM/JI Policy Coordinator at the International Emissions Trading Association in Geneva she has gained extensive experience in the field of international as well as national climate change policy and emissions trading. Cathrine holds a master of international economics from the University Maastricht, the Netherlands.
