Recently established to answer the need for a group of market participants that are invested in low-carbon technologies, this working group was created to ensure that CMIA supports and advocates for the creation of environments that enable climate change related technology development, transfer, and diffusion. Moreover, the LCT WG is designed to encourage member and non-member market participants, investors, and lenders to direct capital toward the development and implementation of low-carbon technologies while encouraging regulators and rating agencies to develop and maintain adequate supervision and assessment practices of the low-carbon technology industry.
